Why Ibiza? Well apart from the beautiful sandy beaches and idyllic coves that meander down to the sparkling Mediterranean sea, the incredible scenery of majestic hills covered in Pine forests that fill the countryside, the fauna and flora that delights the eye throughout the year and the genuine warmth of the Ibicencan people, you will also find there is so much more that lies beneath this beautiful island.
Nowadays many, many people from all over the world, travel to this island to experience its magic and beauty and of courses its frantic nightlife and party scene. It appeals to young and old and everything in between, some who come for the decadent, extravagant nightlife and dance all night in Ibiza's world famous clubs and some to just experience all that Ibiza has to offer. That’s the beauty of Ibiza – you can dip in and out of the nightlife when you want, you might go to a club twice in two weeks, but for the rest of the time, you can relax by your pool in your beautiful villa.
There is so much to see and do on this small Island and Ibiza Town is top of the list and is one of the best preserved medieval towns in the whole of Europe and is the largest and most beautiful town on the Island, with its myriad of boutique shops, selling everything from colourful trinkets to bags and shoes and incredible fashion, individually designed for that something different to take home. At night the old town has a romantic glow, where you can sit and sip a glass of Cava and eat at one the exquisite restaurants, or just as special, sit at a pavement cafe and taste the local produce and watch the colourful life of Ibiza unfold.
On the south of the Island you can experience the incredible sunsets, while sipping a Mojito at the famous Cafe Mambo, as you watch the clubs parade their dancers at the pre party drinks events and then dine at the water’s edge with fantastic food from sushi to steak, before you decide whether to stay and relax, or go and join the party.
In the North you can escape to incredible scenery and remote beaches and find the Ibiza of long ago, where the forests and hills offer a rugged landscape to the coast. Here the locals still farm the land and you will stumble across tiny villages that remind you of what life in Ibiza is really about.
Whatever rocks your boat, Ibiza can oblige, whether you want to just laze on one of the Islands incredible beaches, or sail around the coast on a luxury boat, or dance the night away at a superclub, Ibiza has it all. From walking, cycling, horse riding, watersports , diving or just hiring a car to explore on your own, anything is possible.
