Frequently Asked QuestionsQuick Find:
1) Can I book online?
You can view all our villas and services on our website, to make a booking just email us at bookings@ibizavillas2000.com or see "How do I make a booking?"
2) How do I make a booking?
The following are details of the whole booking process:
a) Once you decide on which villa and which date you want, email bookings@ibizavillas2000.com. You will need to write the villa you require, the date and the number of nights plus the size of your group.
b) We will then send you an online booking form, terms and conditions and an invoice.
Once you have filled in the online booking form and paid a deposit of 25% the villa is yours. (We will only hold the villa for 7 days to enable you to make payment)
c) You can pay a 25% deposit by BACS (directly into the L.P Rentals Ltd account), by credit or debit card. There is an online secure payment facility through our HSBC bank (free) or PayPal/Banc Caja (surcharge applies).
The deposit has to be paid immediately to confirm the villa. The Villa can be held for a couple of days in order for you to collect deposits but no more. These villas go quickly.. Please note, the villa can only be confirmed once a deposit has been received. It is necessary to mention this because on many occasions groups book a villa, but never send a deposit or they send it very late. They are then really disappointed to find it has been rented once they finally get the deposit together. We realise how hard it is to organise a group, so we always write to the group before the villa is released. If for one reason or another you no longer require the villa, please drop us a line.
d) 10 weeks before your arrival you must pay the balance. The date the balance is due is written on the invoice. You will be sent an automatic invoice from my online admin system.
e) You will also be sent an info pack..
The info pack gives you detailed info on:-
- Directions to the villa
- Where the key is hidden
- Important info re the villa
- Important telephone numbers
- Info re all my other services which include the driving service, outside catering, luggage storage service, shopping service etc
- Car Hire Info
- Other info re Ibiza
f) 1 week before you arrive a security deposit is required for each villa. This can be paid in the same way as all your other transactions. The Security deposit will be refunded 1 or 2 weeks after you leave.
The deposit is for any gross misuse of the house.
The security deposit is only retained when a group has mistreated the villa. Treat the villa like it is your own and there will be no problems. :- (See section on security deposit for a full explanation)
Finally,
g) When you arrive, my house manager, will come and say hi. The manager will explain any points re the house and the gardens.
3) How can I pay for my booking?
You can pay a 25% deposit by BACS (directly into the L.P Rentals Ltd account), by debit or credit card. There is an online secure payment facility through our HSBC bank (free) or PayPal/Banc Caja (surcharge applies). The balance is due ten weeks before arrival and the security deposit one week prior to arrival.
4) How do I pay a security deposit?
You can pay the security deposit by either BACS transfer or PayPal 7 days before you arrive. Please be aware if paying in Euros, exchange rates and bank charges will apply.
If you pay by bank transfer you need to allow at least 5 working days for it to arrive. When you leave the villa please send your bank account details to bookings@ibizavillas2000.com . The email must include:
- Bank Account Name
- Bank Account Number
- Sort Code
- The date the money was sent and the reference used
- IBAN if you live outside the UK
- SWIFT or BIC code if you live outside the UK
- Your address if you live outside the UK
The money will be refunded within 14 working days of receiving this email.
5) Under what circumstances is money deducted from my Security Deposit?
The security deposit is only used when a group has mistreated the villa. Treat the villa like it is your own and there will be no problems. Here are some scenarios whereby we would deduct money:-
1) The villa is left in a really dirty state. Please read what we consider to be a reasonable state on the villa notice board. A dirty state is rubbish and beer cans and cigarette butts all over the house. The kitchen full of dirty pots and pans. Bags of rubbish sitting in plastic bags outside. We hand the villa over to you in a very clean state. We don’t expect the villa to be cleaned, we have a team of cleaners for that but we do expect it to be left in a reasonable state.
2) Broken windows, furniture deliberate graffiti on the walls.
3) Broken televisions and electrical goods etc.
4) Misuse of the utilities. water taps being left on all day, or the air conditioning left on. Lights in the pool left on all day. We will be taking a reading of the electric meter each week and we will be charging for misuse.
5) Rubbish not being removed from the villa. and its grounds. Groups must remove rubbish it is a health hazard and can seriously damage the house. Rubbish attracts vermin, ants and takes ages to clean up if its left in the hot sun for days. We charge at least £100 to £400 for the removal of rubbish. This is a deterrent and hopefully all groups take their rubbish to their local rubbish point outlined on the information pack.
6) If the police come to the villa or a neighbour denounces the group re noise pollution we keep the whole deposit to pay the fine.
7) If the group does not pay for the services we offer , such as the shopping we supply before you arrive or transfers.
8) Refilling the pool due to glass being found in the pool.
9) Anything else deemed misuse of the villa or non-payment of bills and fines.
All the above, I think everyone will agree is complete misuse of the villa and very few groups treat the villas in such a way which is very refreshing.
6) When will I receive my arrival information and directions?
We will e mail your arrival information to you once we have received the balance of your holiday, which should be 10 weeks prior to your arrival.

Check-In is 4pm and Check-Out is 10am. If your group arrives early we cannot allow anyone to enter the villa before 4pm. Check out is 10am. We cannot extend this time as we have to clean the villa before the next group arrives at 4pm.

25) Are there hairdryers in the villas?
No we think that you would prefer to bring your own.
26) Do the villas have sun loungers?
Yes all the villas provide sun loungers around the pool.
27) What do I need to know about security?
Robberies and Crime are always a problem in tourist resorts, and the season of 2010 was no exception. It is vital to follow basic guidelines when renting a villa, so that you can enjoy a peaceful and crime free holiday.
Never use Unlicensed Taxis. Just like London, once the drivers know you are staying in a tourist villa they will tell their friends and there is a strong possibility you will be robbed when you are out. Licensed Taxis are white or carry SP plates.
When your group leaves the villa check every door and window is locked. 99% of all robberies in Ibiza are when doors and windows are left open.
If anyone comes to the house offering services or asking questions please refuse them entry, and call the villa manager.
When your group leaves the house text the manager who will make sure our patrols drop by the house.
For 100% security your group can hire a security guard to watch the house from as little as 1 euro per person per evening. Maximum 15 euros per person for 8 hours. For further info call our villa manager or book security online before you arrive and click on link
.
28) Can we have parties and play music?
There are very strict noise pollution laws in Ibiza. Here is a guide:
- You cannot have more than 25 people in a villa without letting the town hall know and getting permission.
- You cannot play music outside after 12 midnight.
- Before 12 midnight the music must be reasonable.
- You cannot have after parties, weddings, or any type of gathering without permission.
If anyone hears noise they are not happy with, they have the right to call the police. If the police come they will measure the noise or count the people in the villa. If you are above on either you will get a very large fine. It can be 2000 euros to 60000 euros for a big party.
Out of 6500 people in season 2009, we had 3 groups who were reported. The other 6497 were fine.
Everyone can enjoy themselves but they have to respect the neighbours even if they are 1km away.
If the noise continues the police will ask us to remove the group from the villa. This is rare. However, please note, we always keep the security deposit when the police have been called. We have to retain the deposit for at least one year until we are sure we will not get a fine.
